SPOTLIGHT UPGRADES
Another area to considerably improve your night vision while driving is the addition of spotlights to your vehicle.
Some of the many advantages to your night driving are:
- See further - anticipate the dangers of night driving.
- See animals and other obstacles that may be across your path, or just to the side such as kangaroos in roadside vegetation.
- Reduce eye strain and general fatigue levels.
With years of experience of upgrading additional lighting elements, we can offer you the best solution given your individual criteria.
After our initial discussion, and considering your location, vehicle type, mounting bar type (if any), budget and the desired outcome you wish, we can ascertain the best solution to suit your particular requirements.
Some points to consider:
- SIZE - Nothing beats larger diameter driving lights. However, with the popular use of roo bars on vehicles, sometimes mounting large diameter lights cannot easily be achieved.
- LIGHT MOUNTING - How will you do this? Roo bar, license plate mounting, etc.?
- SPOT OR SPREAD - The most common question, and almost always answered incorrectly by having one of each. This may NOT suit you, so please contact us to discuss the best solution for you.
Over the years, we have tested all the popular brands and models and can save you the costly error of choosing the wrong base units.
We can also offer you an upgrade service - i.e. you send us your lights, and we will upgrade them to the latest HID standards. Remember, we design our products to withstand the harshest conditions we see in Australia and this includes driving lights. The best value result is usually achieved with a set of XenonOz Extreme range, to suit most spotlights on the market.
The difference isn't subtle - you can easily improve the light's performance by a factor of 3 or more. Look at the pictures above, showing a SINGLE 220mm diameter spot light, upgraded to XenonOz HID. Now imagine these in pairs, or more!

You will enjoy the same advantages that our other customer have seen:
- RELIABILITY - Xenon lighting is ideal for rough off road conditions as there is no filament to break. Service life is approximately 2000 hours, 50 times the service life of a typical filament globe.
- BACKUP - We design & test in Australia, manufacture in Germany.
- PERFORMANCE - Use the same lights that many professional racing teams use in their successful rally cars and 24hr circuit cars.
- SUPPORT - We have national service centres in the unlikely event that you need any assistance.
We can even offer evaluation units from our demonstration stock for your own trials so you can see for yourself, with no commitments, and decide what's best for you.
